      II.2.4) Description of procurement: TH require a bidder to supply, install, test, commission and train Trinity House staff on a new upgraded AC inverter control system to replace the existing Clarke Chapman Ward Leonard speed control and to integrate into various existing cable runs where practical.

The new upgraded AC inverter control system will require (where necessary) upgrading electrical supplies and control cabling.

In addition a complete approved drive system that is compatible with the Speedcrane Derrick functionality as current and will not compromise Patricia’s operational capabilities.

The Contractor supplied and installed AC inverter drive system upgrade should have a minimum viable life cycle of 10 years with 1 year warranty and available spare parts.
